I think it was an unexpected consequence. Youth think everything is about them. Us old fogeys let them - that way they are too busy to bother us. Of course, we regret it later! Another unexpected consequence!

nope. I use my cell as my only phone. I use emails daily to keep in touch with people from all over the country, and the world. I rarely use chat or sms/im which I always have disliked.
