It would do 466 million per second. Nowadays that is not very fast (about a quarter of what the ones in the stores now are capable of.)

Well, it depends on your processor brand. But an Intel Pentium III processor @ 500Mhz can do 1354 MIPS (Million Instructions Per Minute) times that by 60 to get seconds and that is 81240 MIPS.... your processor is pretty close to 500Mhz, so i would guess that number is pretty close to your number.
