I think they are miserable, lonely, angry, abused as children(whether, mentally, physically, etc). I say so because the amount of hate it takes is not normal. I think a lot of these people had little or no contact with other humans(their mothers and fathers) growing up. They are just bitter souls and it is unfortunate.

The profile of a racist is one who has been indoctrinated into the hatred of a certain race before the age of reason which is usually about 8 yrs. of age. Those who indoctrinate are usually parents or care givers and may not be abusive. This is one of the reasons the Bible mentions inheriting 'the sins of the fathers down to the second and third generation.' Be the second and third generations the thing is pretty much infiltrated with different and new ideas. By the second and third generations children have had the chance to rebel against their parents and make change. I was one of those whites who never saw or knew a person of colour until I was past the age of reason. When I was told how bad it was to be around non-whites it was too late. So my children married into other races. This is the way it goes.

My dad once told me that I had an obligation to treat everyone the same. Above all, he said, I must be fair and honest in all my dealings, regardless of the person. It had nothing to do with race, but self respect and respect for others. My dad practiced what he preached and I do as well. Yet, I find that because I do not elevate one race above another, I am sometimes thought of as racist. This distresses me, but I continue to maintain that my position is the proper one to have. Today, if someone doesn't support affirmative action, thinks the NAACP is divisive, and doesn't support Oboma for president, they would probably be called a racist. Those are my positions and they have nothing to do with race because neither would I support the same for whites, they have to do with principle. I should also say that I am not miserable, lonely, angry, nor was I abused as a child. So, in this instance, if my principles do not agree with yours, I am a racist. ...and what does that make you?
PS: "Racism" is a word that blacks use that says, "I hate white people!"

A racists' profile would look no different than yours - they don't know they're racist or that there might be anything wrong in their thinking. They think they're right. They're certainly not miserable, lonely, angry, or necessarily abused even though YOU might like to think so because it makes it more acceptable/believable if these traits were true. I'm no racist but I've been lonely, I've been miserable, I've certainly been angry, and I've been abused as a kid. I've also heard racist talk INSIDE my home when a child as well as OUTSIDE of my home by my neighbors. I've been discriminated against on several levels - and still am. I've observed warring factions claiming 'God is on their side' - by BOTH sides. I've observed discrimination by members of churches and churches that discriminate against other religions and Civil wars between hundreds of societies/cultures. To me, it's all the same. If you're not like ME - then you're less than. If you're less than - then you have less value. If you have less value - then you don't deserve... (fill in the blank with your choice).

A racist in my definition is a person who considers their self or their race, beliefs, etc, superior to others. This, I believe, is from thinking only in black and white (right or wrong, with me or against me...) and living a sheltered life. This is perpetuated by the media that helps instill fear and stereotypes. I agree that these people were abused mentally, because this role is often enforced by the ignorant thinking of their parents, and is drilled into these poor people at an early age.
No matter how intelligent you think you are Fred, youre not. And you watching the news or reading a paper that says 90 percent of crimes are committed by blacks proves my point.
I live in the real world, and the reality is that it is full of ignorant people just like Fred up there.

Too many negative experiences and not enough positive experiences with the other race?
When I was a kid I had Chinese neighbors that I liked... Then all of a sudden they hated us for no reason, so I became racist against Chinese people... Then in High School, I realized that some of my friends were Chinese (I knew they were Asian, just didn't know they were Chinese), so then I realized it was stupid to judge a race based on a few negative experiences.
But I would have to think that if a person doesn't get enough positive experiences with a certain race, then they probably wont like that race. Why should they, if the majority of their experiences have been negative?
As for me, I have learned that there are good and bad people in every race, and even if the majority of the time I get a negative experience, I will still judge each individual person on their individual personalities.

Racism is a complicated issue. How many of us have grown up seeing or hearing our parents using the "N" word? We learn it too.
But I think a real racist is one who blocks others from getting jobs simply because they don't like you just because of race, religion, etc.
I grew up, part of my life, in a Jewish Neighborhood in Brooklyn, New York. When I walked down the street many times I had to get out of the way of Hasidic Jews. Some were very militant about their place on the sidewalk, in the store or etc. This lead me to think they were mean.
The Blacks in the neighborhood created race riots 5 times in 1965. Destroyed stores, homes, etc. The black kids in Junior High 275 wrecked the school in another riot.
What would you think if you were white living in an old black neighborhood that went up in riots, beatings and flames?
In time you see good blacks people and you learn that not all blacks are bad. You also learn that not all whites are good. lol

Someone that is tired of working 80+ hours a week for the last 35 years, only to give 1/2 their salary to the GOV in the form of taxes, just to see it wasted and given away to those that can't stay out of jail, refuse to work, refuse to take responsibility for their own actions and stop having babies out of wedlock.
hope this helps, God Bless.

Xenophobia - I think racism today has a lot to do with moral panic caused by the media. I think the media needs to become less biased and more committed to bringing the TRUTH.

You're looking for the profile, huh?
Well, racists like to wear asses on their shoulders
Next, they'll have excrement coming out of their mouths because they are, after all, full of Shitt.
Lastly, you'll notice a large dent in their heads. That's because racists don't have brains.
Oh, I almost forgot. Racists don't have hearts or souls, so they probably won't have a reflection.
