demand is reported highest at this time of yr and the projections were for us to be at $4 a gallon here. Its down near $3 a gallon. I thought all the refineries were broken?

did someone just say you didn't take economics... when your asking why price is down when demand is up?

that just hurt my head...

but anyway... I think that they must have the refineries back up... and I think that people did stop buying earlier in the year when it was so high... I guess they are trying to find an equilibrium or something?

I think there's just 2 refineries that aren't running (in the U.S.) for the remainder of the week.

Gas in my area has jumped 20 cents from yesterday to today...I'm glad the prices aren't at $4/gallon.

Supplies are up. The war is going badly. So Exxon raises supplies so it makes Bush look better. If 3-5 soldiers were dying every day and gas was $5, we would be rioting on the Washington mall.

Market forces.

I cant speak for everyone else but I know our family has had to cut back huge on trips, visits, vacations, everything. Fuel has become the biggest bill!

I noticed this morning that prices have gone up from 289.9 to 294.9 in my neighborhood.
