Just a while ago, I was picking up some toys for a child I'm babysitting. She had Silly Putty in her had and picked up the remote control and it got all over the buttons. How do I get it off?

If you have the wad of silly putty dab it against what's stuck on the keys. It should pull off the pieces. If not the next thing I would do is pick off as much as I can. Then use cooking oil on a rag to rub off the rest.

Rub a little peanut butter on a clean cloth & wipe over the remote. The oil in the pb should loosen the silly putty.

Put the remote in the freezer - and no, you are not gonna hurt it. Pull it out after a bit.

The silly putty is tacky like gum, and it will chip off.
