I just read about the ladys that are crying racism because of a guy having to check her reciept before leaving Toys R Us. Yes, I am white, and I have my reciept checked before leaving a lot of stores. Its there job. Some of my best friends are black, and I was the best man in one of their weddings a few years back, and he even doesn't understand it. He grew up in a mobile home park and worked hard to get where he is and has never complained like other african americans. I know I have been discriminated against when it comes to certain jobs because of age and education, but I just keep working hard. I am not trying to start anything or offend anyone, but it just doesn't make sense to me. I grew up with nothing and have even been told if I was african american I could have qualified for a loan, but because I am white, the government did not want to help me out.Everyone I know has had to work hard, and yet all I see on the news is racism over stupid things, like people wanting a free ride.

There are documented cases and studies that prove racism against blacks still exist in the housing industry, insurance industry and financing.

Let's not act like this isn't true....

But, yea, I wanted to punch the wall when I read that story. It pisses me off. Why did the dumb chick refuse to show her receipt in the first place? Totally uncalled for.

Yet another black who's making the rest of us look like whiny azz crybabies....

It is like beating a dead horse. The ones that I hear complaining can seem to get past what it was like in the 1950's and 1960's. In 1963 I was in the 6th grade and the school system I attended combined the black & white schools. There was no riot,no fights,no beatings. The white people that might have objected MOVED in to Austin or San Antonio where they could pick the school their kids attended. I know of one family that did that--he worked in Austin anyway.
But there was no problem . Within 6 weeks you could not tell that it had not been this way for sometime.
Whites are discriminated against also.I have a cousin that married a lady from Gradalaljara--she had to deal with a cashier in a department store in Wisconsin not wanting to help her check out. Waited on everyone else--even those that were in line after her

As a white girl in high school, we almost had a race riot. Our student council elections were really close. The "percentage" was almost 50/50 as in the student body count. The principal took it upon himself to determine some of the winners. Neither the whites or blacks were happy about this. This would have been one time that the riot wouldn't have been predominantly black. I am proud that almost everybody stood up to say you can't do it this way. So he went back to what the original outcome was. More blacks won than white. I just wanted to give a scenario that showed there was almost racism allowed but both races kept it from happening.

I agree with you on this, Black's cry and complain about racism a lot, but they are the most racist people on Earth!!. But they take Advantage of the law's that it is OK for Black's to have special treatment, but not the other races. To me, Blacks are doing the same thing that white people did to them. Two Wrongs don't make a right. Sometimes, I wish that both races, black or white, would knock it off!! you guys are both racist, like cat's and dog's. Love each other, not hate each other.

Blacks do no longer "constantly declare racism". Spare us your over the remarkable blanket statements. That Blacks prevail in this usa does not do away with the life of racism from now on than large successes by ability of girls human beings eradicates the life of sexism. observe the vitriol and bitterness of a few comments right here

It's frustrating. Perhaps the complainer had gotten "the straw that broke the camels back"?

IMHO, I think people are too thin-skinned nowadays. Everyone is looking to be offended and make a scene.

If it's blatantly discrimination, protest. If everyone's receipt is being checked, it's not just you.

I remember when there was a big todo about a politician calling Barak Obama articulate. They spun it to mean that most people of Obama's ancestry aren't articulate. So now people can't even give compliments because of this warped viewpoint?

They claim racism because it is a tactic that works. If YOU were low IQ and hated white people, wouldn't you use any plan that could embarrass a white guy and put him on the defensive?
If you are ever accused of racism, you'll note that it's almost impossible to defend against. You end up with the old "I am not" defense, which is a failure from the start.
By the way, please stop groveling. I'm sure you may have been poor in your youth, and maybe you know high-quality blacks. But your defense won't work, for two reasons: (1) People like me already know that many blacks make false accusations, and (2) people who are black racists are never going to be convinced no matter how well you present your case. So drop that defense.
One thing that DOES work a little is to stop supporting the Democratic party. They are a powerful promoter of the idea that ALL white people are guilty, no matter how rough their individuals lives are. Stop backing that theory. Thank you.

I am a white woman & am married to a black man. Believe me....they have a right to claim racism alot of the time.

I was driving on the highway & had a minor fender-bender. My husband was riding with me in the passenger seat. As we were exchanging info with the other driver (a young white girl), a police officer came up. Neither of us called for the police, so we're not sure if he just happened upon us or if another motorist called 911. Anyway, after he got my info & the other drivers info, he came back & asked for my husband's ID. Why? He wasn't driving! He was only a passenger! There were no drugs, weapons, alcohol, etc in the car....not even cigarettes, but he ran my husband's ID to check him for warrants....and yes, he was an old white police officer.

I have a very close friend who is a black, female police officer in this city & she told me that he should have never even asked for my husband's ID. It wasn't necessary for any reason. He was just "profiling" him because he is a black man with a white woman.

Now, these two women are a totally different story. I think they should have just showed their receipt & went on with their day. I have had to show my receipt at Toys R Us, Sam's Club, etc. It doesn't have anything to do with what color they are....just like the white lady who sued McDonald's because her coffee was "hot".

That's a very intriguing question.....Just a while ago the wife and I were staying in one of our villas...I think in the south of Spain but I cant remember we have so many...Anyway, Celeste (The wife.), Buffy, Biff, and little Scooter Jr. (Our children.) were merely chatting and this very conversation arose..

And as queer as it might seem the wife and I have never actually seen a ne..bl.. African American....Well, I mean up close.....It seems that most of the help has always been of either British or French descent so the opportunity has passed us up...

Not to go astray of the topic at hand, I feel that they seem to be very nice individuals with quite a
lot to offer....And I find their dialog ever so quaint and original.....The whole rhythmic aspect appears
to be invigorating .....I also find it unfortunate that their ancestral lineage didn't deem it proper to
establish a solid financial security for them..... I think it rather crass to have to cope without
unlimited funding.....I mean how boorish.....

Cheers...
