To me, happiness is a journey, not a destination. And in this journey through life, I look at the pits and the mountains as just one more adventure to be either enjoyed or overcome. In any case, because of my outlook, I believe that nobody and no place and no thing can make me happy. I have the control of my happiness and I choose to be happy. This philosophy has worked for me for years.

That's a hard question. Even though I really do have everything that I need, I'm never content with my current way that I live. The reason why that's the case is probably because I often compare myself to others, not realizing that no matter how much you think you have, there is always someone in the world who has more or less than you do.

I'm not happy were I am in life. I don't like my home situation, I just graduated 8th grade and I don't like the high school I'm going to, I'm really down because I don't want to leave my teachers because they have acted as my parents. My school was my home. I just don't like my life; none of my friends/class mates that I talk to have endured what I've endured in the past. I wish that I can change everything!!!

I am happy. However, I think that no one is completely happy because that "hunger" for happiness is what keeps us going. We want more, more spirituality, answers, love, money, relationships, more of everything. If we didn't, I think that we would probably die.
