Cant disable my power on password?

I go to BIOS, it says its disabled, I save and power down. I power back on and get the lock requiring a power on password, my old one works. Whats up?

Open the case and on the mother board there's a jumper labeled "bios password reset", simply remove the jumper and move it over 1 pin to short it, that will wipe out the bios password.
