You're probably carrying a big baby. The due-date formula is based on nine months from the date of your last menstrual period. In other words, if your last period was in April, you should expect your baby some time in January of the next year. An easy way is to count back three months from your last period, which will still put you in the month of January. This is a fairly accurate approximation, but the exact due date can be any time in that month. Doctors can usually give you some idea of the exact date by the size and development of the growing fetus. There's an old saying: "The first one can come any time. The second one takes nine months." Figure it out if you can! Good luck!

Only like 5% of babies are born on their actual due date. My daughter was 9 days early. A due date is an estimation based on a sonogram and the date of your last menstrual cycle. I don't think it's ever exact. Either way, your body will begin labor when it's ready. Congrats and good luck!

I had my first a couple of weeks early....I can't remember exactly now, my brain is going. I too thought they were wrong but they refused to listen to me so when she was born, she was on MY calculated due date, 2 weeks before theirs. On my 2nd, he was like 2-3 days early, My 3rd was ON her due date my 4th after by a couple of days.....this time I'm expecting her to have to be evicted at 42 weeks as it's the logical progression LOL

Well...I had a feeling I would have my son in feb...I didnt...my original due date was march 12....then after my first ultrasound the dr pushed it back to march 17....the dr did a c section on march 16! On my second ultra sound the tech said baby was right on for the 12 th the dr said that she was going to keep the later date just to be sure the baby would be fully developed if they had to induce me or anything like that!

It all depends my daughter was due on the 20th of January and she came on the 20th of October. She was a whole 3 months early!!!! and that was really early so it all depends on your stress levels ect and I was really small to be 6 months. Your size also depends on your eating and exercise habits, as far as your belly...lol it's going to do what it wants to do. Good luck I pray you have a beautiful healthy child whenever he or she comes out
