I'm currently reading 'Are Prisons Obsolete?' by Angela Davis. What do you guys think about it? How did you guys interpret it?

I think it is time that we stopped imprisoning drug addicts for possessing drugs. maybe if we sent them to rehab would actually do some good?
The system right now is set up to make profits off of the backs of the prisoners, and with a system like that, its no wonder they are getting filled up with people, because they want cheap labor!!!!
