I'm having a whole bunch of friends over for a horror movie marathon. I need some really scary or creepy movies that are really good. I prefer ones about ghosts or hauntings or the undead, but one or two about a killer is o.k.

the new Nightmare on Elm Street was absolutely dreadful (and not in a good way) for some gorey fun and a cheesy mess, check out Cradle of Fear one that i liked that may not be considered scary (but then again, what is anymore) is The Fourth Kind Pandorum which is technically considered scary was good but not scary The Devil's Rejects is an all time favorite though also not so scary just about any zombie movie is always good (especially Resident Evil since Cradle of Filth does the music for it) CLASSICS Evil Dead trilogy Trick or Treat Poltergeist The Omen The Lost Boys Psycho Children of the Corn Sleepy Hollow these are all classified as horror films, but i think they're just cool films sorry, but i don't think there is a such thing as a 'scary movie' just gruesome greatness haha good luck and have fun -Devil to the Metal

"The Exorcist". You may think it's too outdated, but let me tell you, it's the scariest movie I've ever seen. I have a difficult time watching it even now.

Saw trilogies. (although part 3 was more gross than scary)
