.Ok, how about this.
it is clear that there are a number of people, including myself, who are sick to death of the way yahoo deal with violations etc.
can someone, Possably dave s, who knows how to do a petition etc put something Together for us all to sign and send to Yahoo, just a thought.
I would do it but my PC skills are crap, Happy to sign it though.
What do you think.

I think Dave might do you a deal if you agree to sign the McCann petition...lol...sick of the whole abuse thing at the moment just like you and several others.

Tell the nation, it's no sensation
To give someone a violation,
For just a minor aberration.
Can't you see, it's just a plea,
It's supposed to be, a democracy.

Fair enough, you have your T & C's
But we have reason and we say Please.
'Cos the lunatics are taking over,
This is what happened down at Rover.

So come on and listen to what we say,
Talk some sense and make my day
Quit all the reporting
For what you're purporting
To be abuse...and so the noose?

We ain't no politician, we don't want no coalition,
All we ask is for some sense and sensibilty,
Come on people, take some responsibilty.
Don't press that button for no good reason,
'Cos that really would be...treason.

Oh, look, it's time for me to go,
Football's calling, I'll have ya know,
But later on, I'll be back,
To see if I've come...under attack.

DT.

Edit:
Did I say something wrong?....lol

I agree with you 101%, I am the same as 'Miss Principle's.' I lost my whole account last week and it left me very angry. Better still, don't answer any questions on here. Yahoo will soon get the message.

There must be guidlines on what you should not say in an answer and a while back I thought there was some serious vindicating going on which then eased off. All I can think is folk are holding grudges or you have a McCann family member logged on silently assasinating all those who speak against them..........stranger things have happened

Sometimes the truth ain't pretty. If you don't want a truthful answer don't ask the question. I think Yahoo should keep track of who is reporting people. If it shows there is a pattern to their reporting, blow them up. I like reading the rude answers and stupid questions and a few nasty comments thrown in. We could all use a little laughter in our life.
Is Yahoo Answers really that important in your life that not being able to post or answer a question would really affect your life?

When I contacted yahoo to query why I got a violation, they told me that they didn't know why I was reported, only that I was and to read their guide lines. Fat lot of use that was, I hadn't broken any guide lines in my answer. So I guess than anyone at anytime can report someone just for the hell of it and Yahoo won't do anything about it.

ok simple soloution remove the abuse button use a form to E mail your story about the abuse

make it harder to report the abuse then see what happens

by abuse i mean really bashing the person who asks the question just calling them stupid or

demeaning their character etc...

BUT knowing Yahoo and other internet giants

they aint doing it because the cost factor is too large

I'm always getting them. I'm never horrible and still I get them. So I don't look at them anymore. One day I expect I'll vanish and it will be because people give me violations because perhaps they don't like my view.

How can you protect your self and explain your self when you haven't done anything wrong? That would be a good question.
