Ok here's the situation...I am well endowed 34 DD pushing DDD. Underwires hurt alot! I need the girls to stay put, and because I have large nipples that want to show through my tops, I need thick material, since I get embarrased!

Thanks

DO NOT GO TO VICTORIA'S SECRET!

I am a 36DD, having large cleave runs in my family and it is hard to find the right bra's. With our society full of women getting breast jobs, you would think companies would remember that there are real women out there with real breasts.

With women that have large breast they need real support because weak bras can cause back injuries and strains because the muscles in breasts are heavy

Victoria's Secret is a fashion underwear store just like Fredrick's of Hollywood and are not meant to be worn everyday.

Try retailors, people who are fit certified at Nordstrom, try Sears, Lane Bryant, Macy's, Kohl's. They will have a large selections to choose from try brands like Wacoal and Chantelle, Vanity Fair, Playtex, are a good start to look into.

Try the Bra Specialist. www.thebraspecialist.com They have bras in all sizes, and if they don't have your size, they will order it for you.

I went in there the other day to purchase a pair of Spanx and decided to try on a cute bra. I thought I wore a 36C, but after the woman measured me and fitted me for a bra, I discovered I wear a 34DD. Talk about surprised!!! I bought several new bras and the twins have never looked better. I've also already noticed a difference in the amount of back pain I experience.

Just to let you know, they do get up close and personal when they measure. They also check the fit of each bra you try on. Don't be surprised if the sales associate follows you into the dressing room!!!

While finding a good 34DD or 34E is difficult in local stores, there are MANY online places to find them... and if you do they are usually those ugly Playtex branded ones.

http://www.bravissimo.com/default.aspx is a very good one. While located in England... they do ship to the US.

http://www.biggerbras.com/ is another one and located in the US.

Good luck!!!

PS: Not knowing your age, I don't know if you have been fitted *you really should*, but I saw you said underwires hurt. You may want to try 36 D or 36DD to give more breathing room. Basically, for each size one goes up on the band, you can go down one in the cup. Also, each manufacturer has different size ranges. So a 34 D in one could be like a 34C in another brand.

Also: Lane Bryant only goes down to 36, so may not work for you if you really are a 34 in the band... but worth a try.

I have 3 suggestions for you:

-Of course, WonderBras! If that doesn't work for you...
-Get a regular bra your size, and get padding with water or a soft material in it! Also...
-Some people pay a LOT of money at expensive stores for a bra that doesn't even work that well! Go to a local grocery store with a clothing section, and you just might find a perfect bra for you with a great price!

Good luck!

The first place that comes to mind is Lane Bryant. I'm normally a C or D, but with my pregnancy chest, I'm now an E and I got my last bras at Motherhood Maternity.

Try Macy's. They have some clearance bras. They are cheap and some are designer. They are really comfortable and thick.
