If you were born in 1980 what do you remember in the 80's?

I was born in Dec. of 1980
I remember songs that my mom used to sing along to in the car when she was driving me places.
I remember the toys I had and the ads for them on TV.
I remember the cartoons and shows I used to watch.
I remember the gawd awful clothes people used to wear and am now reliving - as everything seems to come back into style at one point or another.

Of course this could all be due to the 'I remember the 80's' show on VH1... but I like to think that the show only enhanced my memories.

I was born in 1980 and I remember 80's music on the radio, tears for fears totally takes me back. Horrible 80's rock music, which my parents really liked. I grew up in a suburb that looked just like the one in e.t, all the new tract homes in the 80's looked like that. I remember nickelodeon was a new channel and I used to like to watch saturday special or whatever it was called and the other shows on in the morning. I remember when Dirty dancing was in the thaters, Madonna and tiffany and debbie gibson were my favorites in about 87. Rainbow brite and strawberry shortcake was my favorite characters, I was both for halloween. I remember those sweatshirts that had puffy stuf on them. I remember hello kitty and nintendo and so much more. The 80's were great, probably the last innocent decade in our history. I could play outside and not have to worry about people abducting children.

I wasnt born on 1980 but i grew up in the 80's and I remeber them jelly shoes, wanting to be a goonie, saying totally, swatch watches, l.a gear, saturday morning cartoons, voltron, rainbow brite, my buddy, kidd sister, etc....
