I love to eat with my fingers. Is it rude to do that in a restaurant?

I'm happy that it feels natural to you, and yes, it can be rude, but it depends on what you're eating. If it's something like french fries or chicken nuggets, go ahead and dig in, because they're called "finger foods", but if you are eating pasta, don't use your fingers---- use a fork.

i love to eat w/ my fingers, too, of course, only when they're clean, but in restaurants, i don't make a habit of it, unless, like others have already mentioned, i'm eating finger food or any food that allows it.

It may be hard to eat some stuff with your finger and very messy, but you go girl!

it really depends on what type of restaurant you are at. If its a fancy 1 then yes its rude.

It all depends on what you're eating. You would look pretty silly using a knife and fork on your buffalo wings, fried mozzarella or even a slice of pizza. Just as you would pretty silly eating a piece of lasagna with your fingers.

Unless it's fast food or you're eating an appetizer or something similar... chicken strips, cheesesticks, something obviously finger food, then yes.
