depo provera you mean?
well its effective for twelve weeks, after that it is different with every woman.
Some women get their periods back right away, some take over a year to get them back.
Some women get pregnant right off of depo, and some have to go to a fertility clinic for assistance.

Once you have Depo, it stays usually for three to four moths, it the hormones of the body which need to regain their cyclicity, which can take sometime.

I stopped taking depo in October and have only had one peirod. It's very frustraiting when you ae wanting another child.
