My favorite holiday would be Christmas because there's a nice feeling in the air. Also, there's no school and it's like a little break when you rest before you get through the rest of the school year.
And July 4th! I go to Jones Beach most of the time on that day and watch the fireworks.

Thanksgiving. Mainly because I'm a church musician, so Christmas and Easter are so busy that I don't really have time to celebrate. We do not have Thanksgiving services at my church, so I get to spend the entire day cooking for my family and friends, and we get to think about the gifts our lives have received over the last year. It is creative, relaxing, and a chance to give back to those who cover me during the holidays when I don't even have time to sleep.

Thanksgiving because autumn is a great time of year, the food and family gatherings are festive and fun, yet it's not as overdone and greedy, like Christmas.

Halloween because you get a lot candy Thanksgiving because it is a holiday wear you just get fat and eat and Christmas because you get a lot of school things.

4th of July. I love spending time with my family, watching the parade, watching and setting off fireworks, eating the junk food, and soaking up the warm weather.
