So, my bf and some of his fam. are going to Las Vegas for the entire week of September 9th. I knew that the temps were hot b.c. obviously its the desert-BUT, I just looked up the temps for today and holy wow. It's like 104-110 during the day and 80 at night. Where I live its 75 with 95 degree humidity and I practically fall over. At night it ranges from 40-70. On averages its mid 50's. Anyways, can someone tell me the average temps? I think I need to buy some light dresses for this trip! lol.

Thanks everybody :o)

Early September is still hot in Vegas. It is usually in the 90s during the day and into the 70s at night. It is also usually pretty dry with humidity around 10%. However, it is still during monsoon time so afternoon thunderstorms can pop up at any time and when it rains in Vegas, it pours. Flash flooding is common and driving can be a total nightmare.

With that said, it is still a great time to be in Vegas. You can still enjoy the pools during the day and it is comfortable at night plus the chance of seeing 110 degree days is smaller though not entirely out of the realm of possibility.

The best value buffets are not on the strip.
The strip is for tourists that don't have transportation to get off the strip, and are a captive audience for the overpriced meals. Way overpriced IMO.

Locals eat off the strip.

Try the Orleans, Silverton and Main Street Station (Downtown) for great value buffets, AND you can get 2 for 1 coupons for the buffets by oredering a book called
AMERICAN CASINO GUIDE 2007 Edition. (Author Steve Bourie) Available on Amazon, eBay etc. Coupons good until Dec '07, also good for some shows and a few casino bets.

You need to go downtown and get the FREMONT STREET EXPERIENCEfun book coupons for a Main St 2 for 1
It's well worth the cost of the book if you are going to LV for 3 or 4 days or more. LOADS of great coupons in this book.

Silverton Lunch Buffet is $9.95 and 2 for 1 in the book, amazing meal for 2 for $10 !!
Others are $15 max, but 2 for1's are in the book.

You need a car to get off the strip for Silverton or Orleans, but you can take a bus downtown for Main Street Stn.

The book is WELL worth the cost if you are there for a few days with a car. Have Fun !

Just guessing here a little, about 90-100 daytime 70-80 nightime, but like they say, it's dry heat no humidity. It stays hot until mid Oct. or so.
