I am very close to my animals and they are always around me, but lately i have found that they are more affectionate.Could that have something to do with me being pregnant?

My cats loved to sleep on my baby belly. Goldie would start purring and my son would start kicking her. Hey mom whats that on your belly? lol After my son was born Blue my white angora female cat was very mothering. She would get very concerned when he cryed and cuddle up next to him to comfort him.

Animals know things, they are not as simple minded as some people may think. They know your pregnant, and they will also know when things are going well or wrong, trust in them...they may actually help you through this too! Plus your own emotions and senses have changed since you found out...you yourself have been acting differently and you may not even realize it...but they sure do and you'll notice it more and more...just wait till after the little one is born...your dogs will probably be over protective! and a warning...keep a good eye on your cats...they like to snuggle...and that could be dangerous..they don't mean any harm though. Congragualtions by the way and good luck!
