ind values for mand b in the following system so that the solution to the system is (-3,4)
5x+7y=b
Mx+y-22

(-3,4) replaces (x,y), so you simply fill -3 in for x and 4 in for y
therefore,

5X+7y=b
5(-3)+7(4)=b
-15+28=b
13=b

MX+y-22(=b? i am assuming so, but you didnt write it)
M(-3) + (4) -22= (13)
-3M+4-22=13
-3M-18=13
-3M=31
M= 10.3

Your answers are b=13 and M=10.3(If I did not do this one as you needed it to be, please just do it yourself by using the same method that I just showed you)

Since you know (-3,4) is the solution you substitute (-3,4) in for their respective x and y values so now you have 5(-3) + 7(4) = b and M(-3) + 4 = 22

Therefore you then have -15+28 = b or b = 13 and -3M +4 = 22, which is -3M = 18 or M = -6, thus b = 13 and M = -6

-15 + 28 = b = 13
-3m +4 = 22 --> m = -6
So 5x+7y = 13
-6x +y = 22

This assumes that your Mx+y-22 meant Mx+y = 22
