We could just lay on our a ss, guzzling beer, feeling sorry for each other and smoking our joints as we wait for our gov. checks and food stamps to arrive.
What a party we'll have while we dream of the days before the attacks and riots, when our pants were dry, and we didn't have to climb over the rubble of our cities.

Fighting against an oppressive dictatoship is not liberal---it's a human endeavor.
How could you insult those people who fought for our freedom, by lumping them with the lazy, cowardly scum who wear that label today?
These fools will hardly stand for anything.

People have always wanted freedom, but they were not so eager to give up personal responsibility to acquire it.
Bugging out of anything you find unpleasent hardly puts you in the glorious company of Franklin, and Jefferson, ---Don't flatter yourself.

I feel sure that the heroes of our past wars would stand and cheer at the execution of the Jane Fonda liberals for treason.
They forced us to bug-out of Vietnam and leave thousands, if not millions, of those brave people, who fought by our side, to be slaughtered.
Even the death of Americans, fleeing in panic, should be on their conscience.

Referring to yourselves as the same kind of patriots as our country's founders,---is like Islamic terrorists referring to themselves as Muslims.

No, and if they ever get the society they want, they'll not want to live in it either.

No I would not want to live in a society designed totally by liberals no more than a society designed totally by conservatives. That is totalitarianism and is what the Democratic Party & the Republican Party would love to see.

People who believe in the benefits of one party being in control are warped. They take facts and information and bend and twist it to their own uses. Just like these answers that say the founding fathers were liberal. The founding fathers were radical but they bear little to no resembelence to the liberals of today. But those who support a liberal totaltiarian state do this all day long.

And what liberals are these you are talking about? I am a liberal and I work damn hard for a living and I don't believe in a free ride. BUT I want to live in a society where I can walk down a street without fear of getting robbed by people because they are starving and homeless. Wasters and potheads annoy me as much as anyone but so do freeloading businessmen who make money by asset stripping or saddling well run companies with debt and taking too much money out of the company . At least potheads mostly only harm themselves.

You do live in a society designed by liberals. The conservatives during the revolutionary war wanted to remain a part of the kingdom of England. They wanted to keep things the way they were, hence CONSERVative. The wild, radical, liberal revolutionaries wanted to make a new country and design their own society and government. That's the system you live under.

I don't want to live in a society designed by any small group of people even if they intended it to be for everyone else's benefit - I want to live in a FREE society.

That means Pat Robertson doesn't tell me how or with whom we're allowed to have sex and Al Gore doesn't triple the gasoline tax in an effort to control what or how much we can drive.

On the flipside, a society designed by conservatives wouldn't work because is everyone is stealing money then there would soon be none left, everyone would be cheating with everyone which would take the thrill out of infidelity, and factories would not be able to make Oxycontin fast enough. Oh, and hookers wouldn't make a living because there would be too many of them. You know, supply and demand.

IF you live in America,...you already live in a society designed by liberals.

The ideas of democracy, freedom, and political reform.. were liberal ideas. The founding fathers were very liberal.

Have a great day !
