Yup... I've been dancing 6 years now, and starting when you're younger is good coz your body is more flexible, and you can train your muscles more easily than older dancers... we have girls of 12 and even younger dancing in our studio, and if you decide that you want that as your theme (it might change by then) then that is a gorgeous theme, and wow what a way to impress all your friends by showing them what you can do... they will all be jealous:) So use the next few years to learn as much as you can...you will definately be able to do a solo... have fun ... you will LOVE it!!!!!

That relies upon on how reliable and how she does it reason I truly have considered many bellydancing activities and placed some women people people who're very ideal to be worse at bellydancing than people who're now no longer as ideal yet are prett reliable at doing so.

I did my first solo after a year. It all depends on how hard you work on it and how often you practice. Bellydancing is amazing and addictive, and I wish I had started when I was 12!!!!!

AB-SOLUTELY!!! Stick with movements and routines that you're comfortable with. You'll probaby be ready a lot sooner than that to solo; the moves are easy but the confidence comes a little later. You go, girl! You will totally wow your friends!!! Here's a suggestion: get yourself an inexpensive pair of zills from a music store. Keep them on your fingers so you get used to dancing with them. Then when it's time to learn how and when to play them, you'll be used to the feel of them and will be able to manipulate them without thinking. And start now to do exercises to strenghten and limber your thighs because you wil need it for floorwork. Good luck to you!!!
