Monopoly - its more fun!
Although there is a fun game you can play with scrabble tiles called take two. You don't use the board but each player creates their own scrabble with the letters that they draw (to begin it's 8 then once someone has created a word/words with those they say "take 2" and everyone has to take 2 more tiles whether they are ready to or not). The person who finishes creating words that are connected (similar to scrabble style) and has used all their tiles is checked (to see if all the words are real) and then they win.

One of the hundreds of other fantastic board games out there that are NOT Monopoly, Scrabble or Life? Those three are an awfully limited selection.

I'd have to go with the scrabble. It's more stimulating.
