I was in a gunfight while overseas in Iraq. I'm a supply person but I had to go on the convoy to help deliver and sign over supplies.

Yes, 5+ times that I can recall.
When I was 5, I found out I was allergic to Asprin the hard way, spent a week in the hospital.
Once caught in an under-toe surfing in Hawaii when I was 8.
Another time during Desert Storm in 1990 while in the Army.
Once more in Arizona when I went to a Gun shop to buy ammo for the range and a guy thought we were fallowing him and pulled a gun out and shoved it to my head. I had a gun on me, but I just talked with the guy and got him to put his away. Then I bought it from him along with all of his ammo and magazines.
Last was doing repo work in AZ. Had an AK47 pulled on me and the Sheriff left.

Then again, the way people can't drive on the freeway, my life is at risk every morning and evening

Yes.I've had 3 head on collisions when I was younger not counting the time I ran head on into a car at over 50 miles an hour with a motorcycle.I once was operating a backhoe next to a high pressure gas well when I accidentally knocked off one of the valves on the side of the well.Everyone took of running.The shut off on the hoe had just broken that morning and when I tried to get off of the hoe my clothes got stuck on a sharp piece of metal on the underside of the seat.Eventually I pulled myself loose and was able to open the panel on the side of engine and manually shut down the engine before any of the natural gas got in the engine and caused it to explode.That particular well had over a 1000 psi.so it was really deafening to be around.

Gang initiation-sitting in a park by myself and some punk called me a "Pussy a-- ni-er" - and I'm a white boy-walks towards me with a beer bottle in hand.So I jumped up and was watching the hand with the bottle when I noticed a knife sticking out from his backside. I turned and he nailed me ALL the way through my arm and hit my main artery.I was shooting blood out both side's and lost 3 pint's of blood. My arm went "Dead" and the people in the park tied a belt around it and called 911.They had to take a vein out of my leg and preformed surgery on me for 6 hrs.My arm is as good as new,except for the nasty scars.Bad thing is , they never did catch the punk a-s even though they got fingerprints off of the knife and bottle.And this was no regular knife.It was a double side kitchen knife.

I was a pizza man working my way through college. On one delivery I was followed in an apartment building by an armed man. I came down the steps to see him standing there with a gun pointed at my face. He said, "Kick it out!" I thought he was going to shoot me because I only had $27. I was fairly traumatized the rest of the summer. I quit my job and I stayed in the house for a few weeks.

yeah kinda..a couple years ago, we went to the beach w/ my family, and i was playing in the water, and of course, i just drifted off for 1 second, and the waves splashed over me..they were so strong that i couldn't even pull myself up..so i was drowning...i felt like i was going to die if i didn't get out..and just then, my dad pulled me out of the water...OMG that was such a scary incident for me! but i'm okay now...so it's all good :D
