There used to be these wonderful toys called Construx building blocks...they were similar to Lego, but they held together much better. I have no idea why they stopped making them (this would've been in the mid to late-1980s).

I do I do!! I also remember a licorice flavoured gum that had tats called "Black Cat"..it turned your tongue black.
I miss really good tasting penny candy like black balls and pixie sticks that came in a paper tube. I've only seen the pixie sticks in plastic tubes.
