I'm in the middle and I'm proud of that

I'm a Proud Republican but I'm not really a conservative, I'm for gay marriage, doesn't bother me if they get married. The Dems do keep pissing me off, with their partisan ways, and inability to see how much leaving Iraq will cost the Iraqi's in the short run and U.S. and their allies in the long run. I keep inching more and more to the right, and vote for less and less Democrats because they keep making me mad.

I served my country willingly for over 20 years. I am educated, but not by marxists. I am financially stable. I understand politics and ecomonics. I have lived in many different countries and have seen the effects of liberal thinking on the citizens of some of those countries. I have seen the result excessive government control has on a country's citizens. I understand liberalism, who is behind it, and what it's goals are. The goals are definitely not beneficial to poor people. I am therefore a conservative and of course I'm proud of it.

I'm somewhere in the middle, frankly. Both extremes scare me for different reasons. I guess that makes me a conseveral or a liberative.

I actually just wanted to tell you, I love the monkey with glasses. LOL
