I moved my stuff into my 20x30 garage with plenty room to spare before moving into my 3bdrm house , so 20X20 should be OK. Ask a storage company though even if you are thinking of buying or builiding a big shed , they are professionals at this.

A 10x30x10 should do the trick. Maybe even a 10x20x10 if you are good at packing and stacking. You will have to stack items, though. I'm assuming you are also storing boxes of household items as well.

But, is this a 1200 sq. ft. 3 bedroom house or a 3000 sq. ft. bedroom house? Formal dining or not? Bonus room or not? Patio furniture? German shrunk? Is your house sparsely decorated or are you the next candidate for Clean House?

Usually about 1/5 of the house size is what you will need to store it since it's all shoved together and stacked while in storage.

I needed 2 10x12 units and did some very tricky stacking.
