I can see there is no compromising with this man at all. Marriage is about compromise, and he isn't taking your feelings into consideration at all. On the other hand, you have a 2 year old, and there would most likely be years of struggle if you were to divorce him, trying on your own to raise the child. If this man lets you stay home and raise your son, and treats you good otherwise I would say by all means stay. The grass is not greener on the other side trust me. Just try to convince him as hard as you can that is not where you want to go.

Forget Iran. Forget Syria. Come to the United States. Despite what the propaganda of these two countries puts forth to their citizen's, the US is one of the places you can actually be a female and successful and recognize as well as be recognized for your talents.
Your thoughts and ideas are yours to share and be given credit for. You're treated as an equal and can become sucessful. You may not become rich, but you can live a lifestyle that with steady work and taking advantage of the education offered, can only imrove your mind and quality of life to a point that you may want for little to nothing. Although...as Americans we always want more because its there for the taking. As long as you can afford to pay for it.

Besides....both places are not the greatest countries to be in right now. There still is stablility here and no doubt will be for some time to come.

Divorce is a hard subject. Talk to your husband and let him know its an option you are concidering. He may not think its that serious. In the long run you need to do what ever is best for the child. (Fred)

If you love him and he loves you then communicate with each other, for the sake of your marriage ,and your child needing mother and father. You must be able to communicate and trust to ever have a true marriage. You can't have two captains of a ship.

You only live once. If you're going to be unhappy than you need to stay where you are.

Watch the movie, "Not without my Daughter".

WELL SWEETIE IT'S HARD TO SAY YOU SHOULD LEAVE HIM OR STAY BECAUSE I'M NOT FAMILIAR WITH YOUR TRADITIONS. IF DIVORCE IS OKAY IN YOUR COUNTRY, THEN I SAY DIVORCE HIM. HE IS NOT WILLING TO COMPROMISE, THEN WHY SHOULD YOU BEND TO HIS WILL. YES YOU HAVE A CHILD, BUT YOUR CHILD NEEDS YOU MORE. AND THAT PERSON THAT SAID WATCH THAT MOVE "NOT WITHOUT MY DAUGHTER" AWESOME MOVIE!!!! RENT IT, WATCH IT AND LEARN!!!!!! TAKE CARE AND GOOD LUCK.

Hon, no one can decide that for you.... It's your life, your marriage, your husband, your child, and your choice.
