how hot does your house need to get to before you turn on the A/C..
also how cold before you turn on heater..

A/C 80 or so..
heater around 65

its been really hot lately here, so my ac has been on for a while... usually my dad doesnt turn it on until its about 80 degrees, and a heater, like you say, around 65. =-)

I live in the South where it's quite humid which makes you feel like you're gonna die once the temp gets above 70. Once it gets to 73 my air kicks on. I keep the heater on 65, too.

I live in Wisconsin and My a/c goes on usually the first day that it is above 75 (usually in May) and doesn't go off until usually October. My heat goes on when it gets below about 64 inside the house.

Living in England I don't have A/C as it's rarely hot enough but I'll have it on in the car if it's above 70. My dad won't let us switch the heating on until it's 50 or less. I guess we'd have it on for most of the year otherwise :)

I dont have no A/C so it just keeps getting hotter and hotter. for the heater it turns on about 56 - 62 somewere around there.

Well my parents have the A/C on the whole summer. Usually turn it off during the night.

i got it set where the AC turns on at 78degrees and the heater turns on at 68 degrees.

if my house reaches 75 i turn on the ac if my house gets below 66 I turn on the heat.

I leave mine on around 75 all the time. in the winter i change it to heat and in the summer i change it to the A/C.
