In fact, I've never liked MM. I find him to be an elitist in so-called 'average man's clothing'. But I am able to make that distinction and determination without even considering his appearance.
As for his credibility on this most recent film...as much as I dislike him and his methods, I feel he has done something very positive here. I'm hoping that it makes people look more closely at the universal healthcare issue without dismissing it because of increased tax payments.

Our well-being care equipment desires transformations, easily. Michael Moore brings up many very valid factors. lots of folk use the socialized well-being care label as a scare tactic. I agree, the US is the only industrialized united states of america in the international no longer on some style of national well-being care equipment. Many in the US declare we've the final well-being care in the international however the data do no longer undergo that out. the US is in the path of the p.c.. on the final existence span of our electorate, and the US is close to the backside in infant morality expenditures. integrate that with the actuality that on overall human beings pay extra for our well-being care than the different united states of america (a relatives of four pays on overall $12,000 a three hundred and sixty 5 days for well-being care and that doesn't comprise dental or imaginative and prescient coverage). I easily have many acquaintances in Canada that discover their well-being care equipment extra advantageous than sufficient. they have not got long waits for workplace visits and the generic of care is on par with the US. we don't ought to replica another international locations plan. enable's look on the extra suitable ones, regulate it to ultimate adventure the desires human beings electorate and make the transformations.

I saw the movie and it was much better than i thought it would be. He actually has said that looking in to the issue has made him want to loose weight because he sees that he will eventually be a burden on the health care system.

he does have some good points. But overall the canadians drive across the border for heath care not the other way around. Mexicans drive across the border for health care. Emory University in Atlanta- the princes of the middle east all fly in to get medical care, why dont they fly to some of these higher rated countries????

It is good you asked that. Have you seen him lately? While making this movie, "Sicko" he became so alarmed at the state of our health care system that he decided he'd better do a better job of remaining healthy.
He started eating a heathier diet and lost 30 lbs.

FYI in countless interviews Moore said he felt like a hypocrit because he is overweight and he started a healthier eating and exercising plan like most Americans should do. This would in effect keep health costs down.
I always thought of McMurphy one of the great ,free-thinking ,anti-establishment heroes in American fiction, you sure don't fit the bill.

The guy has health problems. There is no relation to his health condition and the state of our national medical care.
if you want to impress someone (anyone but yourself), do a fraction of a percentage of work that MM has done, and exhaustively documented in the link below.
furthermore, if you can successfully disprove ANY single one point he brings up, i'll vote republican for the rest of my life.
p.s. i won't hold my breath.
