Fish ........?

Question

oki i have 2 questions

1.- do fish sleep
2.- do fish have tounges

i have no idea were that came from but i would really like to know ...

They do not sleep as we know sleep. They have no eyelids, so they can't close their eyes to sleep (would be dangerous as far as predators go). At night, they just rest on or near the bottom to re-charge their energy for the next day. Ever alert for predators or disturbances.

Sharks have eyelids, but they are not used to sleep, they close when the shark bites its' prey to protect their eyes from damage.

I have never seen a fish tongue in any fish except some salt water fish that use it as a lure for the fish they feed on. I don't think it is classed as a "tongue." I have to say "no" they don't have "tongues."

Fish don't sleep like people sleep, they don't find a comfortable spot, and have an idea of what time they are going to wake up. Fish rest, they just stop moving around. It would be like if you were running and you just stopped to take a break. I am not sure, but I would guess (by looking inside their mouths) that they don't have tongues, if you ever watch TV (shark week is coming up), you never see a shark's tongue when they show it opening its mouth (and sharks are fish...).

fish dont sleep, they ret. They often dont swim and beathe slow.

Only some fishes have tounges. Boney tounge fishes like arowanas are the only ones.

okay, if you want to keep fish first they dont sleep they rest. Buy them plastic plants. fish rest, have babies, and do most of there stuff on plants. 2.do fish have tounges- r u crazy how r they going to have tounges?! They eat like how human babies eat. just chewing on they food with out teeth. If your planning to keep fish tell me i have fish.
