i space out all the time, even if im doing something important. if i do anything for too long i begin to space out and not pay attention to what im doing. this can get really dangerous if im doing something dangerous. how can i learn how to pay attention without use of medications

do you have ADD, that's what it sounds like to me, I don't know much about ADD though so I could be wrong.

the reason people space out it because of lack of blood moving to the brain. so spacing out can be prevented by moving around. you dont have to be moving so much that you have to get out of your seat all it takes is to change the way your sitting periodically maybe bounce one of your legs up and down. rotating your hands quickly for a few seconds works too. quick motions work best.

FIRST, you have to get their attention.
