My vote would have to go to "what is the meaning of life?"
The question is a sensible one, yes.
But the asker has ALWAYS lived long past the point when he/she should already have said, "Hey wait a minute. I've lived (x number of ) years--and I've obeyed millions of stupid orders and dumber rules, and you don't even know or else failed to tell me WHY I was supposed to be doing all this nonsense?"
That's why the question gets my vote.
It's being asked by someone either should know the answer--"The meaning of life is to live profitable and selfishly in reality: to use my powers, invest my life capital wisely, set my goals, make contexted value judgments, master myself and live well in the world, among others, and for earned profits of joy, experience, and learning wisdom.
