This is a symptom of post partum depression. I had it...i'm going to assume, since you didn't mention recently having a baby...that this is not the case for you. This is something you need to discuss with your doctor. and quickly before it escalates. Tell him/her the symptoms you feel and don't leave anything out. you probably just need a little medicinal adjustment to your hormone levels and/or therapy.

Take it from someone who sees death every day...it's a part of life. You are born, you live, and you die. If you would start living every day as it were your last, or someone you love's last, then you would start to forget about bad things happening. And what you were experiencing was not a heart attack, but a panic attack. I can't tell you nothing bad is ever going to happen to your family, but i can tell you that if you live your life with that thought always in your head, you are going to be full of regret some day. Age can have a lot of do with your way of thinking also. Maybe you have some loose ends that need to be tied. Don't live in the past, live in the future. Tomorrow is another day and you need to remember that the people you love may not be there tomorrow, but they will certainly be in a better place. I used to think the same way that you do until i finally realized that i was just scaring the heck out of myself. Just keep your head up.

You need to find a sympathetic doctor. You're suffering from an anxiety type depression and need to be on something like Paxil. You're not going crazy - it's an anxiety disorder. You probably have a lot of responsibility in the family. Trust me, my suggestion is a good one. I have also had these feelings when my children were younger - it's horrible - I used to have nightmares of planes crashing in my street for instance. Can you get away for a few days and rest? Try and t ake up a hobby and stop doing the things you hate to do - just to give yourself a break. Listen to relaxation tapes. Join a club. Do some volunteer work, to get you out of yourself. I do hope you take my advice and get to see a better doc.

Hey--life is for the living--you can't control the future. Living and dying is what life is made of. Loss is tough--and we all have our losses--that is life. We will all lose someone close--it happens--no one likes the thought of it---I guess your doctor hasn't explained this to you. You cannot really expect those that are close to you to just sit and do nothing because you fear what can happen--that is not reasonable--they have to live their lives. You or no one else can protect them from whatever the future has in store. Constant worry about this is not reasonable--you have to admit this to yourself. Find other things that happily occupy your mind. Enjoy life and enjoy those close to you...Good luck

thinking of death indicates that you are not living your life and not enjoying but dragging. something is holding back.
what is that.
death is the only certainty in life , life is uncertain.
live now or never.
you see many people dying daily naturally , or otherwise. but so what , everyone live and enjoys the life. enjoy till life lasts . and when death comes enjoy the death also .
but you are habitual in making everything certain for each one of your family members.
in efforts to make life certain you are not able to live it and enjoy it.
better try to join some spiritual groups. search for the people who are practicing the teachings of Thich Nhat Hnah.
who teaches how to get more into Life rather than think about Life. if you are in France , they are in Plum village. and you can
search on the web http://www.plumvillage.org/
and try once your life will change.. for better ... but only You can bring about change...
do it now man ....

Nothing....other than this. You're going to die. Me too. Everyone. just a matter of;
1. When
2. How
3. Violent
4. peacefully
5. Accidently
6. Disease
7. Naturally
8. Young
9. Old
other than that...your fear is unfounded. Stop sweating it...sooner or later it'll be here. Nothing is sure in life...except death and taxes.

Try to be more optimistic. If you live forever that would be painful too. Just try to see the world in a different way. The sky, nature, the stars. So beautiful. Everything. Look at the world differently.
