Every so often, I have dreams at night, about the first guy I had a crush on when I was a teenager.

I had a beautiful dream about him last night. I haven't thought about him for quite awhile now, but then I go to bed last night and dream about him. Now can't get him out of of my mind.

I would never ever pursue a relationship. Believe it or not, I am happily married, but I can't help what I dream at night.

Does anyone else still have dreams of their past crushes/loves? Is it normal?

Because it was a first love, untainted and pure. Plus with time passing by you probably have forgotten most of his short comings. I remember my first love and think about her constantly, however; I am too married and I try to turn those feelings and put them onto my wife.

Dreams are very interesting.

I always have a dream if I am thinking of someone. I just went to a wedding 2 weeks ago (and I was in it) not my wedding mine you...and I went to bed last night thinking about all of the people in the wedding and the other people that I meet.

I remember last night before I went to bed-I was reading a old prayer list that I had. For some reason, one name stood out.

My dream lastnight included all of those in the wedding party, a few other relatiives of the bride and the one on my prayer list and the setting was a place where I used to live 9 years ago! What a strange, strange dream. It made no sense. My dreams never make sense to me.

I am not sure if they are to make sense! Don't worry about it. It is a dream.

My first love was 24 years ago and occassionally I still dream about him. I believe that it is something in our subconscious that was never resolved. Unfortunately I cannot resolve anything now because he died 17 years ago. I believe that my subconscious thoughts are as a result of wondering what could have been had we stayed together coupled with regrets of letting the relationship go. You might need to analyze what is going on in your marriage at the times when you think/dream about him, that might help you to figure out the reasons behind the dreams. Hope this sheds some insight.

It's not uncommon to have dreams about crushes or past relationships that failed. We all wonder what would have happened if thing turned out differently. It doesn't mean you don't love your husband or that your unhappy. It's just a dream and not causing any harm. Sometimes we have dreams about other guys because maybe things in your marriage are getting mundane. Just remember sometimes a dream is just a dream with no hidden meaning in it.

Great memories of first crushes are very common. As with all good memories it's great to have them. Any of us that had a first crush that did'nt crush us think or dream about that person now and again. The down side to dreams is sometimes they are not all happiness. It's important to remember that dreams are just that....dreams. In the end love your partner and never forget your first crush That person taught you how to love.

Yeah, I still dream about past relationships, For me at least, I think it is because I have unresolved issues with some of them. Or perhaps something during the day triggered a memory of them and it showed up in your dream. Don't worry, it is completely normal, the dream will fade away.

I think it is normal, I have also did the same before, I think its about just dreaming about someone else that was in your life or back in your head knowing that your not with him. And, its kind of like just reminiscing about being young and having that first crush, I wouldent think anything about it except a dream about the past.

I have often had sexually oriented dreams about a doctor I worked with years prior. However, I had absolutely NO physical attraction to him. It was by far the best sex I have ever had...in my dreams of course. I told a couple of people about this and they all gave me the same explanation...its my subconscious thoughts surfacing. My only thought...OMG HOPE I DON'T TALK IN MY SLEEP!

I read this article saying that you dream about the things you less think about it the day and dream less about the things you do think about during the day.

The brightest future will always be based on forgotten past.

You can not get on well in life until you let go of past failures and heartaches.

I hope I answered your question.
