lead singer: Prince(plays lead guitar, too)
lead guitar: Eddie Van Halen
drummer: Phil collins(drum set)
keyboards/harmonica: Stevie Wonder
bass guitar:Steve Perry of Aerosmith
2nd drummer(congos and Timbales): Sheila E
saxophone : Clarence Clemons
background singers: Annie Lennox, Tina Turner, and Cyndi Lauper(with Tamborines)
piano: Lionel Richie

Look at the line up, Prince has the stage presence...especially Purple Rain Era Prince...he can sing falstetto, tenor, and near baritone...my second choice would have been Freddy Mercury and 3rd, Steven Tyler but Prince can do the splits and play guitar...as well as keyboards and drums...so Phil Collins or Stevie Wonder...even Lionel Richie can sing lead on a song and he can fill in by playing their instrument...Eddie Van Halen was the Jimi Hendrix of the 80's...he had the baddest AX shedding out there...Phil Collins came from Genesis as the drummer and after Peter Gabriel left..lead singer..I want the "Against The Odds" and "in the Air Tonight" Phil..not "Sususudio"..Stevie Wonder on keyboards, he pretty much helped pioneer the use of keyboard synthesizers in the 70's plus he's sick on the harmonica and he can sing his butt off...during the late 70's and early 80's , he had the music industry locked down with his songwriting , vocal ability, and musicianship...he's a force to be reckoned with...Steve Perry from Aerosmith, who I think is one of the most underrated musicians in the Rock music...he has some mean chords and the experience to back up the lead guitar and even pick it up when one of the guys wants to play bass ...Sheila E is the daughter of Pete Escovedo, a Latino musical legend on the drums second to only Tito Puente...she has been playing the drums since she was 9 professionially...around the time of "the Glamourous Life" written and produced by Prince...she had already toured with Marvin Gaye and Lionel Richie in addition to her father's band...she can assist Phil on percussion or run the show by herself..The Big Man Clarence Clemons from the E Street Band on sax...he was Satchmo or Dizzy of the 80's...he will do his solos and add even more personality to the group.....my background singers Annie Lennox, Cyndi Lauper, and Tina Turner..can sing anything from Rock and Roll to gritty bluesy soul...they each got their own personalities..Annie Lennox and Cyndi Lauper can also write good songs...Tina Turner will be the voice coach and dance ceographer as well as design their skimpy outfits....Last but not least...Lionel Richie on piano, as the former lead singer of the Commodores and the writer behind their biggest hits...he will make the whole group stronger...plus he can rock out a little...and imagine him doing a duet with Tina Turner or Annie Lennox...trading off vocals with Prince, Stevie Wonder, and Phil collins...awesome...the cool thing about this group is...they can do pop, R&B, Rock & Roll, urban comtemporary, and everything else in between....

Bruce Springsteen, John Bon Jovi, Tom Petty, Steve Perry, Huey Lewis, Stevie Nicks, Pat Benetar & Joan Jett!

Very distinctive voices that would compliment eachother...without blending together too much!

I could go on & on, but this would be a pretty big band already! =D

Journey, Heart, and Whitesnake. I think that would be a very well rounded group and would be able to satisfy all of my senses.
