Great thoughts everyone. My first thoughts :"Why just one can of cat food? I mean who buys 1 can of cat food...especially with the notion she bought 4 boxes of nose drops!!

What are nose drops?
And old people, though I'm not too keen on thinking about it, do have sex. It could be that the beer and the condoms weren't for her, but for some kind twisted gift for someone younger, like an "enjoy college" gift, but all the same, that is a bit weird.

Sounds like a beer drinkin' elderly "lady of the night",who loves her cat,but is allergic to cat hair and evidently healthy food,as well.

She is really lonely and loves to eat TV dinners and have cat food for dessert! She is buying the condoms for her son b/c her son prob still lives with her.
