uh...clean it out. Then stop throwing raw garbage into so it can rot and attract maggots again. Plastic garbage bags are there for a reason.

Bleach! Yuck.... It's happened to me when a garbage bag broke open and there was some chicken (raw) in it....
Since then I double bag all meats and such. Also I recomend putting up a fly catching device by your trash. I got a good one at Home Depot, that will cut down on the flys and no more creepy maggots. Good luck.

Wash it out with your outside hose and a mixture of bleach and hot soapy water. Even if you use bags (we do), we get maggots too, you just can't help it when it's close to 100 degrees for a week. Try using a lid on your cans also, this may help. :)
