A few years ago on honeymoon in the Maldives both my husband and I got really bad cut feet on the coral whilst swimming. We noticed that alot of the chinese people were wearing rubber shoes that just slipped on like trainer socks really great and you could swim in them. All I can find is heavy scuba shoes can anyone tell me where to find these little rubber swimming socks? Many thanks

Those are called flippers, not rubber swimming socks. Mabe your feet hit a coral or something.

You can buy swim shoes at any sporting goods store. They have rubber soles, and netted "shoes" to let the water drain. Sports Chalet, Fogdog.com, Amazon, should all of them.

Wetsuit booties are like socks and they offer protection as well. They are probably alot like the dive socks mentioned above.

a lot of scuba shops sell these dive socks, if you can't find them in a local dive shop you can try online
