LOL i've had this happen. it was three years ago, I was in lunch detention and this hot guy who i was intimidated of (but now is my friend) came up behind me and put his arm down next to mine and said "Hello". so i looked up and was like "oooh hey" cuz all I saw was a tattooed arm and it was hot. Then he looks at me all retarded like " o_O uhhh....not you." hahaha my friends still tease me about it.

I'd take the opportunity to introduce myself. What a good way to meet someone new and someone cute on top of it!
Some of my best friends that I've had for years were met in "strange circumstances". One never knows...what will become of something.

This happens to me all the time. I hate it when people come up to me because i waved at someone behind them. I am like ohhh gross not you.
They mostly slink off to a corner and I laugh about it with my friends.

I have done that before and I felt so embarrassed.But I sucked it up and pretended to be waiving at some one else and it worked.

pretend that i was waving someone else or that i was adjusting my praclet but it all depends on how i waved the person.
