that Leonardo Di Caprio is ugly these days?

Fair enough he was reasonably attractive at the time of Titanic (although still way too overrated to be labeled world's sexiest "man"), but now his baby looks have wore off we see him for what he is, an ugly dude with a weight problem.

I recently saw the Departed and it is a great film (way better than Titanic anyway) but he looks ugly in it and it lead me to thinking why do girls like his looks?

I mean lol, he has little piggy eyes, and a chubby weird, soft looking face, he isnt exactly chiseled like say brad pitt is he?

I mean he isnt even that great an actor

So my question is, how is a fat looking tub of lard like Di Caprio considered handsome?

Maybe that's why girls like him

yea i agree everybody has their own opinions

but when ya think about it, this guy is way more popular with girls than other celebrites who are more handsome

and why? cos hes a bigger starr, not looks, too many ppl are attracted to him in proportion to his looks

I never thought he was attractive. But that is just my opinion. His acting isn't anything to swoon over either. *Shrug*.

I don't find him to be that attractive either, especially in The Departed. He looked bloated and sweaty and his skin looked like he spent way too much time at a tanning salon. I don't think that women finding him attractive has anything to do with his talent or with his status because in my opinion, he was never very attractive. I loved Titanic but he looked like a skinny girl in that movie. I think he is a good actor but I wouldn't say that he is one of the best. I guess it all boils down to personal preference. I am a girl who simply adores Orlando Bloom and I'm sure that there are plenty of other people who don't think that he is attractive and I also hear plenty of people bad mouth his acting although I disagree.

I have never found him attractive. But I think it is the idea of 'celebrity' that attracts us average people to those we see in movies. Take Hugh Hefner. NOT attractive, but has a power of 'famousness,' if you will. I think it is the title they carry more than looks.

Others are obvious: Matt Damon. Definitely attractive, no contest.

It all depends on what you are looking for.

Another example: Angelina Jolie. Now, I know lots of guys think she's hot because of her robust chest, but I, as a girl, don't find her particularly attractive, especially after the Billy Bob thing. (Blood vials, you know the drill) BUT, I do know some guys who are attracted to her because of her humanitarian work, which is most definitely admirable.

I have a part time job in a video store and i totally hated him until i saw this movie, While watching the movie i though (and all the women i work with agree) When did he get so hot? And he can act now. At least in the "departed" anyway. This movie really changed my whole opinion of him.

Because he is a talented actor. He wasn't fat in Blood Diamond. Perhaps he gained weight for certain parts he plays. Talent and confidence are very attractive.

all i know is that departed was the most freaking retarded show i've ever wasted two hours on in my life. it was disgustingly gory, pointless and depressing. the plot was horrible and the acting was only second rate on everyone's account.

I dont think he is good looking. But everyone has their own opinions as to what they think is hott and what is not. Also, with age comes flaws.
