these are probably the two best romantic anime shows- 1. Kaichou wa maid sama (or just maid-sama)- it's about this girl who has a tough student counsel president character at school but is actually really poor at home so she takes the embarrassing job (in her opinion) at a maid cafe. One day the most handsomest boy at her school (who she also hates) see's her working there and I don't want to spoil anything so lets just say that every episode has romance and is absolutely funny. THIS IS MY FAVORITE ROMANCE SHOW OF ALL TIME AND HAS LITERALLY ALMOST EVERYTHING! >.< so please do me a favor and watch it and you will love it just as much as I do. 2nd- ITZURA NA KISS- OK I think this one would've been my number one favorite romantic series if it wasn't for the sort of weird graphics. Though other then that this anime is DEFINITIVELY worth trying out! Its about this girl who has a crush on this one guy who is the most popular guy in the school with the best grades,looks,and athletic skills. One day her house falls down and is completely destroyed so she moves in with her dads old collage buddy who has a son who is her crush. When they live with each other of course they fall in love and even if that may have sounded a little cheesy you have to remember I am suggesting the BEST romance shows so if this is number two on my list then you know it's good.

Ai Yori Aoshi- it is a very sweet romance anime, with comedy
Ai Yori Enishi - second part to the above mentioned, very cute
Kare Kano- very romantic and funny.
kimi ga Nozumo Eien- very sad romance
