i am looking into opening a pet store and need to find where to buy my fish. i need salt water and fresh water.

Segrest Farms in Florida is a very good place to buy wholesale fish, both fresh and saltwater. That is where I purchased fish when I was trying to make some money at the auctions.
Their fish are high quality and the sales staff is very helpful, ask for Heidi and tell her John from Aquatic Exotics reccommended them to you.
They do import a lot of fish so you will be able to find out of the ordinary fish for your shop. You must have a vendor's license to get the wholesale pricing, but it is cheap ($35 in Ohio) and lasts a year.

your going to need to make friends with other stores, In order to find a wholesaler.
Online sites, might be able to sell fishes to you at wholesale. Also try looking on aquabid. Sometimes there are auctions that people will put up that talk about wholesale from over seas.

to get fresh water buy purifed water. I bot my fish at a big huge wal-mart store.
