if I walk around with sunglasses and a cane and pretend my pup is a seeing eye dog can i get into trouble for it?

Yes, you can. It depends on the situation. If you are trying to sneak your dog into places that Non-Companion animals are not allowed, you can indeed. (That is just ONE example of many.)

Legally, I don't think so. Unless you benefit monetarily for it or received some sort of public assistance. Then it would be unethical and you could get in trouble.

Why would you do that?

And, unless you weren't scamming anyone for money or anything of the such I can't see you "getting in trouble".

They can't throw you in jail for not having morals.
(if you dont harm someone/something of course)

i dont think there would be a legal problem unless u try to use it to panhandle or ask for money due to a physical disability, then it could be theft by deception
