Okay... here's the story:
My boyfriend has an insane @$$ fetish. He's always wanted to try anal intercourse. So, while I was on my period, things got kinda hot and heavy and I knew that we wouldn't be having normal intercourse because well, I was on my period. So I let him try anal. Long story short, he ended up coming.
Now I know this probably sounds silly but he wants me to get the morning after pill because he's worried that maybe some of the semen that came out might have leaked into my vagina or something. I also don't know if I should just because I'm on my period and the chances of getting pregnant anyway are very low...
So, here's my question: Should I take the "better to be safe than sorry" route and get the pill, or should I not waste the money because there really isn't much cause for concern?

You have nothing to worry about, your on your period. Your fine, and your boyfriend is over reacting. Don't waste your money. If you really are concerned, and you know someone who is taking birth control, take two at the same time. it is just as effective as the morning after pill.......again though, I think it is a waste of worry, and he is over reacting.

Personally, I would not take the pill. To me it would seem wasteful since the chances are so low anyhow. If you want the best advice, you could call your doctor and ask them if they would recommend it. But since you did not have vaginal sex and were on your period, I really would not worry. That is my opinion, and what I would do. But if you are 100% against having kids, then it cannot hurt to be extra careful...
Are you on birth control? You might want to consider a backup method like the pill or something because then you would not have to worry in times like these. Just a thought!

Honestly, I don't think there is much cause for concern. While it is possible, it is very, very unlikely that you will become pregnant. He didn't come inside your vagina. You were on your period. It probably didn't leak anywhere.
But, on another note, if you don't want your boyfriend stressing all month and stressing you out, you might want to consider taking the pill just in case.

I think the chances of you getting pregnant are very low. Seamen can't serve outside the body so even if some did leak into your vagina they couldn't fertilize anything. But it's always better to be safe than sorry.

no number one he came in ur a$$ and number 2 if any did slip in to ur vagina ur bleeding at the moment cause ur getting rid of ur old egg so there is nothing there to fertilize. so dont take the pill. its actully not really safe to take the morning after pill more than a few times ever. so dont worry u cant be pregnant.

Sweetie, you can't get pregnant from anal sex, and the fluid won't leak into the vagina and get you pregnant, it doesnt work that way. I would just relax and tell him all will be just fine without the morning after pill. :)

the problem many people don't know about using peal is that peal has a lot of bad effect on someones system. it might have a very drastic effect on your body....... i don't mean that you should go ahead and "waste your money" as you have said but i think you should take a critical look at the situation at hand before you decide.

I don't think it would be necessary for you to take the morning after pill. although if you have anal sex again don't let him cvm inside of you because i have heard that it can cause infection.

there is no reason to be worried you cannot get pregnant while on your period . The two of you must be very young or he is not knowledable on these things educate him . and be carefull while doing anal sex cause it can cause problems. good luck .
