American Ealge Songs?

I was in American Ealge the other day and I heard a song that I liked, and I remembered hearing it a few years ago but I never learned the name or artist. It goes something like "If you'll be my sunshine..." it sounds like the Gorillaz or something, but its not them I already checked. But it has that same kinda, popish alternative sound.
