This just about sum`s it up
1. You check Sky Sports News 25 times a day to see if your club has signed someone. But all you learn is that speedway is as noisy as it is tedious.
2. You’ve already framed the league table with your side proudly in the top half. Even though the clubs are listed alphabetically.
3. The only long-haired South American lovelies you have been drooling over this summer all have facial hair and are playing in the Copa America.
4. You refuse to go shopping with the missus on Saturday afternoon because it feels like you’re being “unfaithful”.
5. You start supporting a cricket team in the Twenty20 Cup just because they play in the same colours as your side’s fourth choice away strip.
Then you adopt their opponents because they are more like your footie team — good at hitting the ball out of the ground.
6. You start getting in a cold sweat when you are not near a radio in case you miss the news that your team have signed that promising Albanian striker they were linked with on one of the more unreliable fansites. You start reading up on the ins and outs of work permit laws.
7. You arrange a family trip to Accrington to see the world-famous collection of Tiffany glass housed in the museum there. Strangely, the date coincides with your team’s visit to play Stanley in a vital pre-season friendly.
8. There’s a clearance sale at your club shop. And you are tempted to buy that grotty teddy bear dressed in your team’s 2003 away strip.
9. You’ve drafted more than 30 Dream Teams. And scrapped them all.
10. You begin to wonder if David Beckham might be on to something, and wonder where you can catch some US “soccer” action.
11. You got thrown out of the tennis at Wimbledon for chanting “Who the f*** are the MK Dons?”.
12. You’ve already worn out your DVD with all the highlights of last season. Unless you’re a Sheffield United fan — then you’ve probably used it as an ashtray.
13. You’ve actually found yourself reading the Aussie pools results.
14. You are hooked on Big Brother because it’s a bit like watching your team — you endure hours of tedium despite the fact you know there’s no prospect of seeing anyone actually score.
15. BB contestants remind you of Steve McClaren’s England: They have no tactics, are c*** away from home and embarrassing to watch on TV.
16. You check the website 20 times a day to see when tickets go on sale . . . only three weeks to go.

omg omg i dunno i think im gonna die
lol jk. its been pretty hard though to be honest.. last summer we had the wc which was just the best moment of 2006... hands down. best moment in a really long time.. and in 2004 i had the euro. 2005 summer was just crazy but ths summer SO FAR has been ok... the u20 world cup has SAVED ME!! same with copa america.. im following both :)
