The following song titles contain only the name of one state.

Alabama - Neil Young
Alaska - Camera Obscura
Arizona - Mark Lindsay
Arkansas - Glen Campbell
Delaware - Dambuilders
Georgia - Boz Scaggs
Idaho - Dambuilders
Illinois - Dan Fogelberg
Ohio - Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young
Oklahoma - Rodgers and Hammerstein
Nebraska - Bruce Springsteen

I could go on, but these came to off the top of my head.

'90's alternative bandThe Dambuilders released several songs named after states. They even released a CD in 1996 named "God Dambuilders Bless America" which contained fifteen songs named for states. This was part of a plan they had to name one song for each of the 50 states. Sufjan Stevens has also made plans for concept albums dedicated to each state. He has already released albums for Michigan and Illinois. Both are excellent, especially the Illinois album ("Come on Feel the Illinoise!").

How about the classic song Oklahoma from the play of the same name. My Old Kentucky Home comes to mind and so does Maryland My Maryland and Back Home Again In Indianna. You can tell I like sports. These songs are usually sung at the beginning of events like the Kentucky
Derby.
