why are women so?

Selfish? not being mean, but honestly, why are women so self absorbed and why does everything revolve around them? what happened, think back to our grandmothers who used to raise 6 kids, take care of the home and cooking and be there to take care of her husband and family? honestly look back and think now how things have changed. now we girls dancing on tables, flashing boobs and getting genital piercings..How do you think God feels about this?

I somewhat agree, though not all women are that way, lots of men are the same, but I do agree with you. God does not like this and as it says in the scriptures:

And thus we see that they were in an awful state, and ripening for an everlasting destruction. Yea, even at this time ye are ripening, because of your murders and your fornication and wickedness, for everlasting destruction; yea, and except ye repent it will come unto you soon. And it came to pass that they did wax stronger and stronger in their pride, and in their wickedness; and thus they were ripening again for destruction.

First of all it isn't fair to generalize. To say that women are "selfish" is a slap in the face to every woman. Yes there are some women who are self absorbed and everything may appear to revolve around them. Women back in grandma's time basically didn't have a choice when it came to marrying. It was their "job" to raise the kids, take care of the home, cook, and take of the family. Divorce was unheard of because they didn't have anywhere to go....how do you know that grandma was truly happy? She may have put on a front to everyone for years. Women these days have far more choices, therefore they want more. As far as dancing on tables, flashing boobs and getting genital piercings,,,guess they are letting the wild side come out. Just for your information there are SOME men out in this world that are "self absorbed, and everything revolves around them". I might add that there are SOME men that are pigs!

Wow!!!! What a stereotype. Selfish.. that is great. I am a 26 yr old mother and I am far from selfish. I have a daughter and two stepsons, everything I do is around them. I work, go to school and raise my child and another woman children. I actually feel guilty asking my husband to watch the kids for an hour for me to go and do aerobics with my mom. So if that is your definition of being selfish than man I must be selfish. Now I have a question for you, why do dad's say they are babysitting not parenting? It is a woman;s job to cook, clean, take care of kids, but now we work to and what more do men do ?????? NOTHING!!! GO back to your suck *** life. And what god is thinking is how can you sit there and say this about woman who sacrifices their life for their children.

I don't know what kind of women you have been around lately, but there are still some really great ones out there. And you can't just blame these things on women. Because if there weren't men out there willing to look at their boobs and to see them dancing on tables, they probably wouldn't be doing it.
As for God, I am sure that he is disappointed by the way people act. He is always upset at sin of any type.

Just because you can't find a woman to cook your meals, launder your clothes, clean your house, raise your children, provide sex when you want it, and otherwise grant your every demand, doesn't mean women have become selfish. In the bible God also told men to honor and respect their wives for the care they provided in the home. Well, that didn't happen either. So I guess women wised up and leveled the playing field. Get over it or find a girl in some third world country who hasn't figured it out yet!

Well...I'm not like that.

I think we've entered a time when all children hear is how special they are and how they can do no wrong and how everyone is a winner.

Too much of that really does turn children into monsters, and those monsters grow up into selfish and destructive adults. I think it goes for both men and women.

That's just my take on it though. I'm glad my parents were real with me. They have supported me, but knocked me back to reality when I needed it. That's what parenting should be...

LOL too funny, to be honest way back in the day women use to be prostitutes and it was legal.....lol we are not selfish, but im sure there are women out there that are. I find that women who were brought up spoiled are usually selfish as to those who earned there way through life.
Today's society it takes 2 to bring in the money not like 100 yrs ago where the men worked and the women were bare foot and pregnant and raising the kids. as for god????? nobody is perfect and i'm sure you arn't either,

Well even back when your grandma was raising kids, there were woman dancing on table and showing their boobs. You just didn't hear about it as much. It is not about being selfish, it is about freedom. The freedom to live whatever lifestyle you choose. Some women want to stay at home and some women want to work or get things pierced. And I say more power to women who are living the way they want.

Ok well how is getting a piercing anything to do with being selfish? It's OUR genitals after all. And not all girls flash their boobs and dance on tables, I have never done that because my mother brought me up better. i don't think God cares what girls do with their bodies, he gave us free will to choose what we do, and it's us that has to live with any damage we do, God gave us bodies to celebrate, I bet you are one of those men that thinks women should be chained to the kitchen sink, barefoot and permanently pregnant.

Because women have had to step up and start acting like men to make ends meet. You cannot make it on 1 income these days. Life can suck, buck up and help them out and maybe you would find a brainless little twit who wants to wash your feet and raise your pack of wolves....
