The terms good and bad are meaningless in the context of the natural world. These are human mental value constructions only. What is important in the natural world is success. A species may be successful by surviving and reproducing, which roaches are quite 'good' at. This means that they are very successful or 'good' at their role in nature. Another way of looking at your question could be; What is the point of you, or What good are you?
Now, if you want to place roaches on some sort of arbitrary human value scale and try to find a useful purpose for them it might be rather difficult. I suppose that one could say that they carry disease and therefore help to eliminate the excess human population.

They're not 'for' anything. Evolution isn't a teleological process. Roaches are products of an unguided evolutionary process, just like humans and all other living things on this planet

Organisms don't need to have a purpose or do good to survive. They just need to adapt to an environment which provides a food supply and places to breed. Maybe roaches have found such an environment under your kitchen sink.

A roach is a small freshwater fish. It has as much point as a trout, a gudgeon or a guppy.

What is the point of a zebra or a dolphin? What is the point of you?

There wasn't someone that was making animals and each one had a special purpose. Everything has its place.
